Version
What is Version?
A complete snapshot of a note at one moment in time, kept automatically about a second and a half after you stop typing (or when you press Ctrl/Cmd + S).
Why it matters
One version per pause, not per keystroke, so a writing session leaves a readable trail instead of thousands of entries.
How it works
Versions appear in the history rail as stacked layers, newest on top, each labeled with when it was saved.
