Most editors give you a shallow undo stack that forgets everything the moment you close the tab. knowdust keeps a real version of your note on every save — automatically, about a second and a half after you stop typing. Free keeps the last 7 days; Plus keeps everything, back to your very first save, forever.

Restoring an old version never destroys anything. It adds the old content back as a new version on top, so every version written in between stays in your history too. Restored the wrong one? Restore again. There's no destructive action anywhere in the loop.
